Recent and ongoing research:

  • Prehistory of the Siwalik Hills (northern India)

  • Quaternary Investigations and Paleolithic Archaeology in the Narmada Basin (central India) in collaboration with Indian and American scientists
  • Implications of the Toba Super-eruption on Hominin Behavior in India (multiple sites) in collaboration with Indian, Australian, and American scientists
  • The Paleoecological Background for Hominin Behavior and Evolution during the Pleistocene in India - Inter-regional Correlations of Faunal, Floral, and Archaeological Data Sets in collaboration with Indian scientists.
